Okay. First question: what makes you think you've been here since the beginning?

I've been conscious since our collective beginning, by which I mean I was part of the first group to be taken in by Morningstar. It's possible others of us were awake before then but we've not come across anyone else like us.

We've evidence to suggest that most if not all of us have been here for longer than any of us have been awake.

Have people ever liked obvious modifications?

They're widely available on New Amsterdam's free healthcare system when medically necessary, and there are body mod shops around the city for those who choose to get them as a cosmetic adjustment. It's unlikely people will find you offensive if you decide to skip the gloves.
